3:00 PM ~ 4:00 PM ET

In 2017, the National Apprenticeship system celebrates a major milestone – 80 years since the enactment of the National Apprenticeship Act in 1937.  In acknowledgement of this milestone, the Department is sponsoring the National ApprenticeshipUSA Awards to recognize excellence and leadership in apprenticeship.

Description

The ApprenticeshipUSA Awards will honor individuals and organizations that are champions of apprenticeship and have achieved innovation, quality, diversity, and other areas of excellence in apprenticeship.  The U.S. Department of Labor will give out awards in 13 categories through three types of applications:

  • Sponsors of Federally Recognized ApprenticeshipUSA Apprenticeship programs
  • Apprenticeship Partners (organizations that are not sponsors)
  • Individuals

Nominations for awards are accepted between May 30, 2017 and July 14, 2017. Please note that only organizations that are ApprenticeshipUSA LEADERs may submit nominations for awards.

The National ApprenticeshipUSA Awards Overview & Q&A Webinar will review the award application, walk through the application process, cover the award categories and eligibility requirements for each award and provide a Q&A with organizers.
